A man living in the Edwardian Age is tormented night after night by a – bird. A mockingbird (Mr. Mock) sits outside his window and “sings”. The man doesn’t see it that way, and vows to get rid of him. He tries many somewhat silly things, but none work. Frustrated and in despair, he visits the local witch to ask for her help. She is only too happy to help, but for a price. The next day, the man wakes, after having slept for the first time in months. He thinks his problem is solved, until he looks in the mirror. Magic is afoot, or is it?
